After what happened during the 2016 elections in the United States with Trump and the Muslim Ban, it made me think about how Media controlled the image of Islam. Trump denounces fake news, but also spreads so many saying that all Muslims are Terrorists and should not have the right to come to the U.S.

I decided to do a project showing the impact of media on our everyday life. The project was inspired by the Pantone swatch book. I took headlines from the news about Islam and Terrorism and I juxtaposed them with a thorough research and facts about Islam. The media part is bigger than the fact part because people believe the media instead of fact checking the information themselves.
